As networks begin to make decisions on which pilots to pick up for next season, the first of several adaptions has been cut. Delirium, based on the Lauren Oliver novel and starring Emma Roberts, has been passed on by Fox.

Fox is moving quickly on the pilot of Delirium and has now cast the male lead in the show. Daren Kagasoff of Secret Life of the American Teenager fame has been cast as Alex.

Some new, big casting news for the highly anticipated book-to-TV adaptation of Delirium this evening: Gregg Sulkin has joined on as Julien.
