Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist season 2 is gearing up to welcome What We Do in the Shadows vet, Harvey Guillén! Read up on who he’ll play below!
According to Variety, actor Harvey Guillén has officially signed on for a recurring role in Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist season 2.
Guillén is the latest newcomer to join the cast of the NBC series’ second season. Season 1 of the hit musical dramedy introduced viewers to Zoey (Jane Levy)— a young woman who suddenly finds herself with the ability to witness the inner thoughts and emotions of the people around her.
Those thoughts and emotions manifest themselves through musical numbers, often the only clues Zoey has to work with in an effort to figure out what’s troubling the people in her life.
In season 2, Guillén is set to play a new programmer named George. Unlike some of Zoey’s other co-workers at Sparq, George will constantly be looking for her approval.
Fans looking forward to seeing the What We Do in the Shadows vet show off his song and dance skills will get their first look at his character in the series season 2 premiere.
Guillén joins returning cast members Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Lauren Graham,, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, Mary Steenburgen, Andrew Leeds, Alice Lee, Michael Thomas Grant, and Kapil Talwaker, all of whom have signed on to return for season 2.
Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist season 2 is set to premiere sometime in 2021 on NBC.
