Zack Snyder has revealed the first sneak peak at his version of Justice League, which gives us a look at Diana and Darkseid.
The short teaser features the ending dialogue from Zack Snyder’s previous DCEU film, Batman V Superman, spoken by Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor.
As he speaks about a great threat coming to Earth following the death of Superman, we see Diana — Wonder Woman herself — looking incredibly fearful as she approaches an ancient piece of artwork featuring Darkseid.
Then, we get to see Darkseid himself for a few moments.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League was officially announced in May after global passionate fan calls to action and the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement.
The film — a true sequel to 2016’s Batman v Superman — will premiere exclusively on HBO Max in 2021.
In a statement about his version of the film, Zack Snyder said that he wanted to “thank HBO Max and Warner Brothers for this brave gesture of supporting artists and allowing their true visions to be realized. Also a special thank you to all of those involved in the SnyderCut movement for making this a reality.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max will debut the project in 2021 — possibly in a four-hour director’s cut or in six TV-style “chapters” — as the director gets the gang back together with the original postproduction crew to score, cut and finish visual effects.
Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s assumed that DC’s major virtual fan event in August, DC FanDome, will drop an official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
The director himself confirmed that there will be more to come from him and the film at the event.
