The X Factor will air its first live shows of the season this Wednesday and Thursday.
In a press release sent out to the media today by Fox, since the World Series ended after just four games the top 16 finalists of The X Factor will perform live on Wednesday, October 31 in a two-hour special. Recently announced hosts Khloe Kardashian-Odom and Mario Lopez will also be joining judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
Thursday, November 1, The X Factor will air the results show which will reveal the Top Finalists who will return the following week and face America’s vote.
Original programming was set to have the two episodes air Thursday and Sunday rather than the newly announced Wednesday and Thursday format.
The X Factor, much like several other shows on Fox’s lineup, has had to take a month-long hiatus as the World Series and presidential debates have filled time slots every week in the month of October.
If you missed the judges’ picks as to who the Top 16 are, check out this post, which has the full lineup of performers who will be singing for their spots in next week’s episodes where America votes!
The X Factor airs Wednesday and Thursday night at 8/7c on Fox.
