In the Veronica Mars trailer we see some clips from the film with the emphasis on Veronica helping Logan once more. For fans of the romance between Veronica and Logan, be prepared for plenty of heady looks as well as Veronica’s belief that Logan is innocent. The trailer shows Veronica finally punching out Madison (Amanda Noret), Dick (Ryan Hansen) being silly as usual, and the expected witty banter between Veronica and Keith (Enrico Colantoni).

The movie is aptly titled Veronica Mars rather than The Veronica Mars Movie moniker that floated around for a while. The movie will reunite many members of the old cast at Neptune High’s 10 year reunion. Veronica Mars will see Veronica (Kristen Bell) returning to Neptune to help old boyfriend Logan (Jason Dohring) escape a murder charge. As seen from the previous Comic-Con released footage and teaser trailers, the film begins with Veronica interviewing as an attorney in New York and is dating Piz (Chris Lowell).

The movie will also feature Tina Majorino, Francis Capra, Daran Norris, Percy Daggs III, Brandon Hillock, Jerry O’Connell, Duane Daniels, Sam Huntington, Ken Marino, Max Greenfield, James Franco, Krysten Ritter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gaby Hoffmann, and Martin Starr. More surprise appearances are expected.

The film is written by Diane Ruggiero and Rob Thomas. Thomas also produced and directed the film.

Veronica Mars will premiere on March 14, 2014. The Kickstarter went live on March 13, 2013 instantly setting records. The original series aired on UPN and the CW for three seasons from 2004-2007.
