Veronica Mars may be coming back, and the original ReWatchable podcast crew couldn’t be any more excited for more Marshmallow moments.
ReWatchable covered the entirety of Veronica Mars, and was fortunate enough to be in the middle of the show as the crowdfunded movie was announced. Now, with Hulu said to be in the works of reviving our sleuthing Mars, the ReWatchable crew gathered their reactions, speculations, and wishes together for the Veronica Mars reboot.

The #VeronicaMars movie, books, and creative team have made it very clear in the past: It was never a question of "if" the show would return, but "when."
I can't wait to return to Neptune and all of these characters that mean so much to me. Welcome back, Veronica. 📸 https://t.co/DEcDmcGZyT

Yes, the movie was a dream come true and yes, I’m a huge fan of the book series, but there’s nothing quite like Rob Thomas & co.’s serialized storytelling and getting Veronica Mars in its true form once again.
Everyone on the internet is freaking out about this “revival,” but it’s not a revival. Not really. Veronica Mars never went away. A mini-series (or full-blown continuation) was always going to happen. It was just a question of when.
And you know what? There’s no time like the present for Veronica Mars to come back and bless all of the Marshmallows in the world with more stories, mysteries, and sass.
A long time ago, we used to be friends, but I can’t wait to reignite this spark and embark upon this journey with everyone all over again.

Can you believe we finished our Veronica Mars round of @Re_Watchable FOUR years ago? And now the show coming back. https://t.co/64MbcaV5XW

I’m thrilled to see the news of Veronica Mars‘ revival. Veronica is a character who has never been afraid to live in the grey areas of life while still holding onto a sense of right and wrong. In our current political and social climate, she is the kind of hero I’m ready to root for all over again.
With the characters now adults, there is a lot of new, mature material the revival could explore. That’s not to say the original series didn’t — I’m still traumatized by the season 2 finale, guys — but I’m intrigued to see more of these people moving through the world as adults. Bring it on!

I know that Veronica and Logan are a thing, but can I please get my Logan/Dick pairing? #LoVe #Lick https://t.co/HssuIJF7KW

Anyone who has listened to ReWatchable for any of our shows full well knows that I’m sort of the crack ship theorist.
When I was a newbie recording for season 3 of Veronica Mars, I could have sworn that Logan had his hand on Dick’s shoulder on the DVD boxset’s cover art. Turns out, I was wrong, but hey, I can always dream of getting my crackship in the revival, eh?
Kristen Bell is a gem, and the series wouldn’t be the same without the role that broke her into the Hollywood scene. The Good Place is great, but Veronica Mars will always hold a special place in my heart.

And if any show deserves to be rebooted, it's #VeronicaMars. The series and the characters have grown so much over the years, and I really feel like it's better than ever. I can't wait to see what they do with the #VeronicaMarsRevival!

I said it above, and I’ll say it again: If any show deserves a revival, it’s Veronica Mars. The three seasons we got of the show starting way back in 2005 had their highs and lows, but since the movie and the book series have been released, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying where this show has gone and who these characters have grown into.
There’s a lot of trauma that comes with Veronica Mars, both for our characters and for fans of the show, but somehow Kristen Bell manages to make us laugh just as much as she makes us cry. I still have PTSD from season 3, but the movie was like a salve for my soul, and I can’t wait to see what the cast and crew do with Veronica next.

I watched Veronica Mars when it originally aired… and then multiple times after. 😛 And the movie. And the novels. And obviously, I listened to the podcast, and yeah I’m a Marshmallow. It’s a bit ridiculous how much I love this show. It’s Danielle levels.
I honestly thought Veronica was the coolest bean when I was in high school. Sort of that “do I want to be her or have a friend like that?” thing. Still kinda feel like that, not gonna lie.
