‘True Blood’ season 7, episode 8 preview: Tension at Fortenberry’s

HBO has released stills and a video clip from this Sunday’s new episode of True Blood season 7.

True Blood season 7, episode 8, titled “Almost Home,” is the third to last episode of the series, so things should start really ramping up if you think they haven’t already.

Things are tense in this first clip from the new episode. Jason is visiting Hoyt and his girlfriend at Mama Fortenberry’s home when they get in a riff over whether or not they should be talking about raising their own children. Jason sits next to Hoyt’s girlfriend nervously – perhaps because they’re afraid Hoyt will find a photo of him and Jason together?

Three new photos were also released today and depict Bill and Sookie (photo is above), Violet (ready to cause more craziness?), and Pam:

The True Blood season 7, episode 8 synopsis teases what’s ahead: “With his prey in sight, Eric reconsiders his end-game strategies against Sarah. Sookie puts her life at risk in hopes of saving Bill. Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) urge Reverend Daniels (Gregg Daniel) to join them in their V-fueled search for Tara (Rutina Wesley). Violet (Karolina Wydra) eyes payback against those who betrayed her, while an old love is reborn for others.”

True Blood airs Sunday, August 10 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on HBO. While you wait for the new episode, check out our recap of last week’s! Judging by the comments on our article, fans were upset that Sookie was shacking up with Bill so soon after Alcide died.
