Cooper’s story is finally here and will make readers swoon with delight while they devour Torrid Little Affair by Kendall Ryan!
‘Torrid Little Affair’ (Forbidden Desires #3) by Kendall Ryan:
The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. And I have the perfect candidate all picked out.
My new assistant is tempting beyond belief with her curvy body and take-no-shit attitude. All those luscious curves, and a juicy ass I’m already in love with. God, the things that I would do to that ass…
But it’s the haunted look in her eyes that speaks to me. Like she’s taken just as much shit in her past as I have—maybe more. We both deserve a little fun.
Love can’t fix everything. Mind-blowing sex and a few killer orgasms, on the other hand?
I have a feeling those might do the trick.
‘Torrid Little Affair’ (Forbidden Desires #3) by Kendall Ryan review:
After being involved in a love triangle in the first two books in the series, Cooper finally gets his chance at a happily ever after with Torrid Little Affair. Despite the fact that he’s still very hurt over what happened with his brother and Emma, Cooper agrees to go back home and work for the family company again.
In order to help him get back into the swing of things, Quinn makes sure that Cooper has a great new assistant to help him. However, a certain phrasing Quinn uses leaves Cooper thinking that his new assistant is actually someone that’s meant to help him get over Emma with some sexual healing.
“This was inane. Totally fucking insane. But the longer that Corinne stood here, watching me with those sad eyes, and knowing that she’d been treated poorly, hearing her admit she hadn’t been properly taken care of – it did something to me.”
It makes for an awkward introduction for sure! Cooper’s mistake does open for something more with Corinne, who has her own inner battles to get over. She has even more complications in her life than her new co-workers can even begin to imagine and she’s determined to keep them a secret.
All Cooper and Corinne have to offer each other is the comfort that they can find in each other’s bodies. However, with Cooper’s leanings towards romance it’s hard for him to keep things strictly physical. The more time he spends with Corinne the less he cares about what happened with his family and more about making a future with Corinne.
“We stared at each other for a long moment, and I leaned in to press my forehead against hers. Something about this woman – the feel of her, the taste of her, just her general presence – made me want to know her. To have her completely as my own.”
Even though Cooper’s story is so much different than his brother’s, it was still a great read. Cooper is sweet and romantic where his brother was dirty and dominant. This makes me all the more excited for the next book in the series Tempting Little Tease which is Quinn’s book!
