AMC has finally clued fans in on when we can expect those extra episodes of The Walking Dead season 10 to premiere!
In a press release sent out on Thursday (November 19), AMC officially announced that the six additional episodes of The Walking Dead season 10 will officially begin premiering on Sunday, February 28.
In addition to cluing fans in to the official premiere date for the final six episodes of the season, the network also announced that each of the additional six episodes would also be debuting early on AMC’s streaming service, AMC+.
Fans who opt in to the streaming service will be able to sink their teeth into new episodes of the long-running zombie drama a few days early on Thursday night, prior to their linear premiere on Sunday nights.
The six bonus episodes viewers will get as part of The Walking Dead season 10 ‘s extended run also include some pretty exciting guest stars.
Specifically, Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) is set to appear as Mays, while Hilarie Burton Morgan (One Tree Hill) will appear as Negan’s wife, Lucille.
In addition, fans can also look forward to getting introduced to new TWD co-star Okea Ems-Akwari (Cobra Kai), who will be playing a character named Elijah.
Those who can’t wait to get a taste of what’s in store as part of the new crop of episodes are in luck.
In addition to announcing the official release date for the six additional episodes, AMC also treated fans to a new table read clip from one of the upcoming episodes of The Walking Dead season 10 titled “One More.” The clip features actors Ross Marquand, Seth Gilliam, Robert Patrick, along with narration by Josh McDermitt.
The episode in question will find Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) search for food and supplies to bring back to Alexandria. Small tragedies lead to bigger tragedies as faith is broken and optimism is fragmented when they are put to the ultimate test.

The Walking Dead season 10 returns with new episodes on Sunday, February 25 at 9 p.m., on AMC.
