When we last saw The Mindy Project, Mindy was invited to go to her cheating ex-boyfriend Josh’s wedding. When Danny is busy with his little brother’s visit she is forced to bring Peter. But when she sees him dressed in a tux as “Mr. Wedding” she’s pleasantly surprised and they end up having a good time at the wedding. That’s until Peter ruins the wedding by having sex with the bride in a bathroom where Mindy and Josh discover them.

After being upset, Josh get’s over it when he admits to Mindy that he knew his bride was a cheater as she’s a sex addict. She feels bad when he tells her the wedding was to prove how far along he’s come. Naturally Mindy saves the day by ruining the wedding so none of the guests learn the truth.
