It’s amazing that the studio took the time to animate the characters with the blooper voiceovers. They’re definitely hilarious and maybe if we’re lucky there will be even more bloopers on The Lego Movie DVD/Blu-ray.
Its unique trailers and favorable reviews had audiences ready to take the whole family to the spectacle this past weekend which includes Batman, Wonder Woman, and half a dozen other incredible characters voiced by stellar actors.
Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt voices the lead character, while he’s joined by Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman and Will Ferrell as the villain.
The film has received critical acclaim due to its hilarious superheroes and incredible casting. Morgan Freeman read the phonebook in one trailer, proving he still has the best voice ever.
Warner Bros. spent millions on older audience advertising, which has proven to be worth the cash as the film nears the $100 million mark. It’s expected to go even higher, with rom coms being its only competition this weekend. On a budget of just $60 million, there’s already talk of a sequel heading to theaters next year.
