A new promo for Thursday’s episode of The Big Bang Theory has been released, offering a peek at carols, bells, and at least one reason to hope that Sheldon is not Santa Claus.
CBS has aired a new preview for “The Santa Simulation,” which will air Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. The promo doesn’t reveal very much, but with the geeky gang all decked out for the holidays, we can’t wait to see what comedic yuletide treasures are in store for this season. Check out the preview right here:
We can’t lie – hearing Sheldon belting out carols kind of makes us yearn for a “Big Bang Family Christmas Album”… or something like that. (Fantasy wishlist, perhaps?) CBS’ official summary for “The Santa Simulation” says nothing about the cast’s musical prowess, alas:
Sheldon revisits some Christmas memories during a game of Dungeons and Dragons, while Penny, Bernadette and Amy try to find a girl for Koothrappali when he joins the girls for ladies’ night.
Drama does seem to be waiting in the wings this week. We can’t wait to see what goes down on “ladies-plus-Raj” night – will poor Koothrappali finally succeed in winning the heart (or at least the phone number) of his better half? And there have also been mumblings that Sheldon’s Santa-sized grievances “may or may not involve a shotgun.” Either way, we’re intrigued!
Following this week’s episode, it looks like The Big Bang Theory will be taking a week-or-two hiatus for the holidays. The show is scheduled to return on Jan. 3 with “The Egg Salad Equivalency.” As previously reported, Southland‘s Regina King will appear as Mrs. Davis, head of Human Resources at Sheldon and they guys’ university. CBS says:
Sheldon gets accused of sexual harassment at the University and winds up getting Leonard, Raj and Wolowitz in trouble.
