The Avengers are facing off against their biggest foe yet in the latest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War.
After a decade of creating the MCU, Avengers: Infinity War is about to take us to the biggest fight the world has ever seen. Thanos is on the hunt for the Infinity Stones, which would give him the power to destroy the entire world in a flash.
The stakes are incredibly high for humanity and the universe as a whole, and the latest trailer for Infinity War lets us know just how dangerous the threat of Thanos is for everyone.
While Thanos might be a force to be reckoned with, there is a huge team of heroes standing off against him. The trailer shows every hero from the MCU teaming up to fight Thanos, and the new poster for the film gives us a taste of just what a huge amount of talent is being packed into this one movie.
And even cooler, we finally get to see the Guardians of the Galaxy joining in the fight. As many of us expected, Peter Quill and Tony Stark’s cocky, bombastic personalities are not totally a perfect match at first meeting, but it doesn’t stop the two groups from teaming up to keep the world safe.
Still, we know that Infinity War is heralding a major shift in the MCU, and it’s possible that this movie could be the end of some of our favorite heroes. With many of the actors from the original Avengers reaching the end of their contracts, it’s not clear if all of our favorites will survive the events of Infinity War. After all, this new trailer alone shows several of our heroes in mortal danger.
After seeing this trailer drop, we’re ready for this movie and so excited that Marvel decided to move the release date up a week. Avengers: Infinity War now will hit theaters on April 27, and tickets are on sale now.
