Move over, Wii U: Nintendo has announced its new gaming system, and the NX sounds pretty exciting!

In perhaps one of the oddest additions out of any of the Super Smash Bros. 4 characters, Nintendo has added a character from a Wii exercise game.

After launching November 18, Nintendo has sold over 400,000 Wii U consoles in its first week on the North American market.

Both Microsoft and Nintendo are cutting the price of their consoles for the holiday season.

In a recent Nintendo Direct conference, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced a new Kirby game for Wii, titled Kirby’s 20th Anniversary Collection, to celebrate 20 years of Kirby goodness since his first appearance on Game Boy.

For the first time since the publisher went public, Nintendo reported a financial loss for the fiscal year of $530 million. While the company projects a return to profit next year due to a reduction in production costs for the 3DS and the release of the Wii U, some analysts are advising them to ditch the first-party stranglehold they have on their most popular franchises.

Nintendo’s tablet-based console has already been confirmed for this year. If a recent report is true, it could very well be released in the middle of November.
