Last month J.J. Abrams released a trailer for a mystery project. It generated tons of speculation as to what TV show or film the trailer was connected to but today it was revealed that the project is actually a book.

Universal Studios has picked the producer of Snow White and the Huntsman and Alice in Wonderland to play the same role in adapting Laini Taylor’s Daughter of Smoke and Bone to the big screen.

We’re all eager to receive The Casual Vacancy, and this may whet your appetite even more. The book has already begun surfacing in areas of the United States, as we’ve obtained photos of it in the wild in what can only be described as an accidental Casual Vacancy leak.

We knew it when we were coming in to this year, and now it has proven to be true. 2012 will be a monumental year for not only J.K. Rowling but Pottermore too. Because of this, I have logically figured out a timeline of events to highlight these occasions. It is entirely built around my own predictions of when these events will take place. Enjoy!
