An article detailing Team StarKid’s premiere of A Very Potter 3D: A Very Potter Senior Year has released a handful of behind-the-scenes pictures as well as a video featuring interviews with the cast and footage from the show’s rehearsal. Warning: there is obviously spoiler content below. It’s endorsed by StarKid – but if you want to remain completely oblivious until the YouTube release, don’t click.

Still recovering from an insane weekend at LeakyCon 2012 in Chicago, I wanted to share my experience with all you guys at Hypable! Get some insight into the biggest Harry Potter party of the year, or relive the weekend with me here.

For those of us fortunate enough to have attended LeakyCon, we just spent the past weekend in the Hilton Chicago, surrounded by other LeakyCon-ers toting the red messenger bags, armfuls of merchandise, and lots of cups of coffee. But, before the conference began, the countdown to LeakyCon 2013 began.

Luna Lovegood actress Evanna Lynch appeared on stage at LeakyCon 2012’s Opening Ceremonies in Chicago earlier this evening dressed as Katniss from The Hunger Games.

So there we have it. Team StarKid’s finally doing the ‘Threequel’ – A Very Potter Senior Year – next month at LeakyCon. Well, sort of. The group is unfortunately unable to commit this project to a full live production, but to celebrate the fandom and say goodbye to their Harry Potter work, Team Starkid are putting on a one-off staged reading of the finished script.

LeakyCon has announced that Team StarKid’s long rumoured (and highly anticipated) third Harry Potter musical will debut at the convention in August.

Summer is upon us, with school nearing to a close and everyone looking forward to their much-needed vacations. To help with your holiday plans, here are a few things to get excited for this summer, no matter where you’re located.
