The Kick-Ass 2 red-band trailer has finally come online, and even though Matthew Vaughn isn’t coming back to direct, helmer Jeff Wadlow’s (Cry Wolf) vision looks nearly identical to what made us fall in love with Kick-Ass back in 2010.

Matthew Vaughn and Mark Millar co-created the Kick-Ass film and graphic novel respectively, both of which received critical acclaim for their satirical take on the superhero genre. Now, the two are collaborating again on a new spy project!
Fans who have heard the contrary about the status of Kickass 2 can now take it up with Mark Millar, the man who wrote the series of graphic novels, who claims that production is slated to begin this Summer.
