Martin Scorsese: ‘I would have done all my films in 3D,’ including ‘Taxi Driver’

Martin Scorsese shocked film fans and critics alike when he announced that he would be releasing Hugo in 3D, but reception to both the film and the 3D was near-universally positive. Speaking at CinemaCon, the Oscar winning director told attendees that he would have liked to have shot all of his films in 3D – including Taxi Driver and Raging Bull!

Why do people love or hate 3D movies?

As 3D technology advances more and more movies, particularly classics, are being rendered from their original 2D formats in to 3D spectacles. While this has some people excited about reliving their favorite movies in theaters, it also has others up in arms!
