While Nov. 1 represents a lot of different things to the general population (candy-induced comas, candy corn themed alcohol hangovers), it generally indicates the same thing to film studios — the start of Oscar season.

As all studios do during Oscar nomination season, Warner Brothers has launched a few minisites to show off what films they want voters to pick at next year’s Academy Awards.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is of course one of them, and the minisite includes some gorgeous photos from pivotal moments during the film.
Fringe is really in the Emmy race this year – WBFYC.com (Warner Bros. For Your Consideration) is advertising the show on their website, and a new “For Your Consideration” ad appeared on the second page of the Daily Variety on June 2nd.
