Sorry, Dawson’s Creek fans — it doesn’t sound like the series will be making a comeback any time soon.

Dawson’s Creek almost existed without one of its most iconic components: the opening credits sequence.

After doing my third (or maybe fourth…) rewatch of Riverdale season 1, I couldn’t help but recognize some serious parallels between it and the beloved teen drama Dawson’s Creek.

Dawson’s Creek premiered on Hulu for the first time in March 2016, and to celebrate, we compiled the eight sweetest Pacey and Joey episodes of the series. Because yes, the creek may have been named after Dawson, but through the years, it was the unlikely love between the goofy sidekick and neurotic overachiever that stole our hearts.
