Netflix has some good news for fans looking to dive further into the world of Stranger Things.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has announced that they’ll be officially launching a Stranger Things after show.
Titled Beyond Stranger Things, the after show will be available to stream on Friday, Oct. 27, the same day that season 2 is set to hit the online streaming platform.
Netflix has tapped Jim Rash to serve as host for the new after show. Though Rash might best be known for his roles as an actor on series like Community, he also happens to be a fellow Stranger Things super fan.
Hopefully that means he’ll offer the sort of thoughtful insight that fans of other after shows like AMC’s Talking Dead have come to expect from programming such as this.
Fans who tune in to Beyond Stranger Things are set to be treated to stories about the inspiration behind the series, behind-the-scenes tidbits, and of course some hardcore analysis of the new crop of episodes set to hit Netflix on Oct. 27.
The new after series will also feature appearances by creators Ross and Matt Duffer, executive producer Shawn Levy, and cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Sean Astin, Linnea Berthelsen, Natalia Dyer, Brett Gelman, David Harbour, Randy Havens, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Gatten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Dacre Montgomery, Paul Reiser, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Finn Wolfhard.
Though all seven episodes of the new after show are set to be available in conjunction with the second season of the series, Netflix cautions fans that they shouldn’t necessarily watch one episode after every new episode of the hit sci-fi series.
Instead, the streaming platform is advising fans not to start bingeing Beyond Stranger Things until after they’ve finished season 2 in order to avoid any stray spoilers!
