The stars of Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been working very hard to bring some epic battles to the screen.
In a new featurette for the upcoming Star Wars movie, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie and Kelly Marie Tran prepare for some challenging physical scenes.
The cast discuss some of the major difficulties involved with filming some of the most beloved scenes of the Star Wars saga, and talk about overcoming those obstacles to deliver the final product. It’s obvious that everyone is very invested in making this one of the best films of the franchise.
The “Training Day” featurette teases a pivotal scene in which Rey puts down her training staff and opts for Luke’s lightsaber, instead. It also shows some behind-the-scenes action from the highly anticipated “face-to-face” battle between Finn and Phasma!
The film’s assistant fight coordinator, Liang Yang, praised Daisy Ridley’s work on the film, saying, “I was planning to teach her this whole routine in three days, but she surprisingly learned everything in an hour and a half! She’s a very quick learner.”
