Is anyone still watching these, or are you all avoiding the new Star Wars footage like the plague?

The latest TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens shines the spotlight on Stormtrooper Finn, played by John Boyega.

We’re officially less than one month away from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which hits U.S. cinemas on December 18, 2015!

John Boyega stars as Finn, the Stormtrooper-turned-Jedi (or at least lightsaber wielder) who loses his mission and joins the good side when he meets probably-Skywalker Rey (Daisy Ridley).

The fifth TV spot for The Force Awakens puts Finn at the center of the action, and remind us that however many old cast members are returning, John Boyega is the new star of Star Wars! Check it out:

In the TV spot, we see Finn fight a Stormtrooper using a lightsaber, cementing the fact that he’s switched sides.

Han Solo (Harrison Ford) appears to be Finn’s mentor of sorts, which makes sense considering their shared shady backgrounds. Han asks Finn, “Are you sure you’re up for this?” and Finn humorously responds, “Hell no.” In case you forgot, this is a J.J. Abrams film!

And, in case you’re keeping track, there’s still no sign of Luke Skywalker. There are a couple of cool Chewbacca and BB8 sightings though.

This is the fifth TV spot for The Force Awakens released so far, and we can’t help but wonder: Is it too much? While official sources insist we haven’t seen much of the movie yet, it does feel like we’ll be able to piece together the whole plot soon.

This is one of the few blockbusters which is neither a remake nor a book, so one of the biggest attractions for fans (other than the fact that, you know, it’s Star Wars) is going into the experience blind.

Will you keep watching the new Star Wars promotional footage as it’s released, or are you trying to remain as spoiler free as possible?

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ hits theaters on December 18.
