Star Trek: Discovery season 4 is officially a go over at CBS All Access!

It turns out that premiere of an all new season isn’t the only thing Star Trek: Discovery fans have to celebrate this week.

On Friday (October 16), CBS All Access announced that it had officially renewed the hit sci-fi series for a fourth season.

News of the series season 4 renewal couldn’t have come at a better time for fans— especially given that season 3 just kicked off a mere 24 hours prior to the exciting announcement.

Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green and Douge Jones, along with executive producers and co-showrunners, Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise were all on had to share the news with fans far and wide in the form of a season renewal announcement video.

In addition to announcing the renewal news, the cast and crew also revealed that production on Star Trek: Discovery season 4 will officially be kicking off next month on November 2.

“I am so excited to be back on set,” says Martin-Green in the video. “It’s going to be great to see everybody and I think we’re really going to love on each other.”

Jones shared in his co-star’s excitement about being reunited with the rest of their castmates, adding: “To be able to at least be in the same room again, even if we can’t hug each other right away— I don’t know how it’s all going to work, but I can’t wait.”
