With ‘One Tree Hill’ winding down, fans do not have to worry about a lack of Sophia Bush on their televisions for very long. She has been cast in the pilot for a new CBS comedy, ‘Partners.’

Deadline reports:

“Sophia Bush, star of the CW’s departing drama One Tree Hill, is switching to comedy with a lead role in the CBS half-hour pilot Partners. The multicamera comedy, from Will & Grace creators Max Mutchick and David Kohan, centers on two lifelong friends and business partners — one straight and one gay. Bush will play the straight guy’s girlfriend. James Burrows is directing.”

The news of Bush’s casting was followed by the casting of Michael Urie. According to TVLine, Urie will play the gay character, Louis.
