Last night Kevin Hart hosted SNL with musical guest Sia. Check out this recap of some of the highlights from last night’s hilarious episode.
Kevin Hart opened the show with one of the best monologues of the season thus far. Usually stand up comedians have the strongest monologues, and Hart definitely delivered.
Later, Kevin Hart played a character hosting a new show called “Why’d You Post That” which featured him giving scathing reviews of peoples’ Instagram posts. Don’t we all silently judge ridiculous Instagram posts when we are scrolling through? He’s saying what we are all thinking in this hilarious sketch!
In another sketch which featured nearly every cast member on the show, Hart spoofed a James Brown performance. Things get kind of awkward with the band when Brown tries to edge them on throughout the performance:
Andy Bryant played Nancy, a talk show host who brought together the cast of a fictional soap opera. Vanessa Bayer’s character, when introduced, didn’t quite get the same treatment as the rest of the cast members – and she had a problem with it!
Kate McKinnon channeled her nearly flawless Justin Bieber commercial in lieu of his latest controversy: the Photoshopping of his Calvin Klein ads. McKinnon channels Bieber’s child-like behavior in these pre-taped sketches:
Sia also performed two songs from her album 1000 Forms of Fear. Check out her performances of “Elastic Heart” and the four-time Grammy nominated song “Chandelier.”
Next week on SNL, The Voice’s Blake Shelton will hail as both musical guest and host.
