Emmy-award winning actor Alec Baldwin returned to SNL this week to deliver his famous Donald Trump impression. This time Baldwin returned to talk about Trump’s recently-announced national emergency.

Baking Competition

One of the highlights from this week’s episode was the parody of all of the popular baking competition shows popping up on television and streaming. In this sketch, Don Cheadle plays a baker who tried really hard to create a Cookie Monster cake, but it turns out the cake was so bad, it took on a life of its own. Check out the hilarious sketch below.

Gary Clark Jr. Performs on SNL

Musician Gary Clark Jr. also performed two songs during the live show this week. Check out his performances of “Pearl Cadillac” and “This Land” below.

Coming up next on SNL

SNL will take a few weeks off from live shows before returning on March 2 with host John Mulaney and musical guest Thomas Rhett, Deadline reports and NBC confirmed on air. Mulaney has hosted SNL before, hosting a popular episode of the show back in April 2018.
