A new, sneak peek has been released for Disney’s upcoming film, Christopher Robin, and it will give you all sorts of fuzzy feelings.
There’s a lot of horrible things happening in the world, so it’s nice to get a little break from the awful stories dominating the news today with a bit of pure-hearted, nostalgic goodness. Luckily, Disney is here to deliver just that with its latest sneak peek of the upcoming film, Christopher Robin.
While as a child, Christopher Robin spent most of his days playing with friends like Winnie Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger in the 100 Acre Wood, he ultimately had to grow up. As the adult responsibilities of work, bills, family, and a career began to barrel down on him, Christopher started losing sight of what was important to him. Luckily, Pooh and the gang always ready to save the day and teach their old friend about what is really important in life.
For those of us who grew up watching the Winnie the Pooh cartoon, Pooh and the gang might look a bit different than we all remember. While their appearance might be a tad bit unsettling at first, it’s important to remember that the characters in Christopher Robin are based on the original drawings of each character rather than what we saw in The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
New appearance aside, from the looks of the sneak peek, the characters themselves will act and sound like the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore that we all grew up loving. And ultimately, the heart of the story feels just like we all remember it as kids.
This movie looks utterly adorable and will be the perfect film for adults and kids to enjoy together. Christopher Robin arrives in theaters on August 3, so get ready for some serious nostalgic feelings to head your way soon!
