Mark your calendars, Dexter fans! Showtime has finally announced when we can expect to see New Blood premiere on television!
It’s been nearly a decade since Dexter reigned supreme over at Showtime, but it won’t be long before fans can sink their teeth into all new episodes of the hit series.
On Sunday (July 25), Showtime announced that the forthcoming revival (officially titled Dexter: New Blood) would officially be premiering on Sunday, November 7, at 9 p.m.
The exciting news was shared with fans far and wide as part of the series’ 2021 Comic-Con @ Home panel. In addition to letting us in on when we can expect the revival to premiere, Showtime also unveiled an all new teaser trailer for the forthcoming series.

Comprised of 10 episodes in total, Dexter: New Blood finds Michael C. Hall back to reprise is role as the titular serial killer. This time around, he’s going under the name Jimmy Lindsay living in the small (fictional) town of Iron Lake in Upstate New York.
Joining Hall for the limited series revival are Clancy Brown, who will play Iron Lake’s unofficial mayor, Kurt Caldwel, as well as Julia Jones, who plays the town’s Chief of Police. Meanwhile, Alano Miller and Jamie Chung play the town’s PD sergeant, and a true-crime podcaster from LA, respectively.
In addition, actors Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow, both of whom appeared in the original series, will return to reprise their roles for the revival.
Dexter: New Blood debuts exclusively via Showtime on Sunday, November 7 at 9 p.m.
