Lenny Kravitz is gearing up to join Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel in Shotgun Wedding.
Casting on Lionsgate’s Shotgun Wedding is picking up steam— and adding quite a few big names to its cast!
According to Deadline, Grammy Award winner Lenny Kravitz has officially joined the cast of the forthcoming action comedy.
Directed by Jason Moore, Shotgun Wedding centers on a couple who rounds up their respective families so they can have the destination wedding of their dreams.
Things don’t quite go as planned on the trip however. For starters, both Grace (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) start getting a serious case of cold feet. But backing out of their impending nuptials is the least of the worries— especially after their entire wedding party winds up being taken hostage.

With their families in danger, Grace and Tom must set their differences aside if they wish to stand a chance at saving their loved ones from the predicament they wind up in.
Lenny Kravitz will be taking on the role of Sean in the upcoming action comedy. His character is described as a globetrotter who also happens to be Grace’s ex.
The recording artist isn’t the only newcomer to join the cast of Shotgun Wedding this week.
Others who’ve also been cast in the Lionsgate feature include Cheech Marin (who will play Grace’s father, Robert), D’Arcy Carden (Robert’s new wife, Harriet), Selena Tan (head of the wedding resort, Marge), Desmin Borges (Tom’s boozy best friend), and Alex Mallari (a pirate named Dog-Face).
Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see Lionsgate’s Shotgun Wedding hit the big screen.
