The teaser trailer for Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is expected to debut very soon.
Update (May 12): Product Wyck Godfrey teased Tuesday morning that something is coming a week from today. Could The Scorch Trials trailer arrive on Tuesday, May 19? We’re hoping so!

At this point it seems very unlikely that the trailer will be out with Pitch Perfect 2 this Friday, as we suggested may happen last week.
Original story (May 6): After much chatter over what exactly will appear in the trailer, we finally have some interesting hints as to when fans can get a look at the film with their own eyes.
The Projection List believes that on May 15, before Pitch Perfect 2, audiences will get their first look at the eagerly anticipated Maze Runner sequel The Scorch Trials.
Beware though! This is only a small taste of the scorch. The Projection List reports that this teaser trailer will be one minute and 44 seconds long.
We should also note that moviegoers can expect to see the teaser before Poltergeist and the book to film adaptation of Paper Towns as well.
As we move closer and closer to the Scorch Trials premiere date (September 16!) more details about the movie have slowly risen to the suffice. For instance, last week during James Dashner’s Twitter chat, he revealed that lightning will definitely be included in the film.
I think Wes would be okay with me saying this: there IS lightning in the movie, and it's spectacular. I say no more! :) #dashnerchat

For non readers, the lightning refers to a powerful and moving experience that happens within the book. Therefore, fans of the novel were relieved to hear that the portion of the story made the cut, especially since Dashner warned changes to the series were made. “Prepare yourself for changes,” he stated, “Please don’t get angry about it. I approve of them all and they make sense. I hope you trust us.”
