Get ready to go back to Bayside in the newest trailer for Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reboot!
Saved by the Bell fans who’ve been eagerly following along on news about the upcoming reboot definitely won’t want to miss out on checking out the new trailer for the Peacock original series.
The newest footage for the show finds viewers traveling back to Bayside High. The school’s signature red lockers and tiger mascot might look more or less the same, but the student body has bigger fish to fry than that of the pupils who attended the school under the watchful eye of Mr. Belding in the 90s.
The reboot picks back up with Bayside undergoing some pretty big changes as a result of Governor Zack Morris finding himself in a bit of trouble after closing too many low-income schools. As a result, eh suggests the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state, including Bayside High. It’s not long before the new students clashed with the overprivileged kids of Bayside.
Despite the drama, the new trailer for the series isn’t all doom and gloom. And, in a move that’ll surely delight fans of the original series, the trailer also features a healthy dose of some familiar faces.
In addition to seeing more of Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkeley interacting as Jessie and Slater, the newest trailer for the reboot also offers up our first look at Governor Zack Morris. Tiffani Thiessen is also back in action for as Kelly Kapowski in a few moments sure to bring a smile to the faces of fans who grew up with the original.
