Showrunner Daniel Cerone takes to twitter for a call to arms to save Constantine, as season 1 is offered for free to stream for a limited time.
It has been a long and agonizing wait for Constantine fans to learn the fate of the show, after NBC capped production of the Hellblazer adaption at 13 episodes. But today, showrunners Daniel Cerone and David Goyer meet with NBC executives to pitch their ideas for season 2.

Daniel Cerone himself called upon the Hellblazers keeping the fervent #SaveConstantine campaign alive on social media to band together at 1 p.m. EST today, so that he can show NBC just how badly the fans want Constantine to return.
At 10 am PST (1 pm EST) start tweeting #Constantine. EVERYONE. I'll pull out cell in meeting and show NBC we're trending. #SaveConstantine

John Constantine fought the good fight throughout season 1, and we’ll certainly be joining other fans in the fray for our own battle against the odds!
But what might we expect from the “petty dabbler,” should the show be renewed for a second season? As all 13 episodes were added to NBC.com to stream for free over the weekend, David Goyer took to the Constantine writers’ twitter account to tease some exciting tidbits — among them that Papa Midnite will likely become a regular on the show, should their pitch succeed.
If/should we do Season 2, we wanted to make Midnight a series regular. #DSG

#Constantine. If we do a Season 2, my goal is to keep using more and more obscure punk songs. #DSG #MissionOfBurma anyone?

We were planning on introducing #DoctorFate, #Spectre, #PhantomStrange, #TheDemon, etc. Want 'em? Contact #NBC!!!! #DSG

Daniel Cerone wasn’t one to be outdone on the teasing front, as he joined in from his own personal account — both about John’s occult origins, and a possible guest star…

.@CSIFCI @ams92096 Hmm. Feels like @WilliamShatner has made a mark with our fans. Would be great to get him into an episode if we come back.
