Good news for Roswell, New Mexico fans who can’t get enough of Rosa.
According to Deadline, actress Amber Midthunder has officially been upped to a series regular on the CW’s Roswell, New Mexico.
The good news comes just 24 hours after The CW revealed that they would be renewing the Carina Adly MacKenzie-helmed series for a second season.
Speaking of MacKenzie, the showrunner took to Twitter to make sure fans didn’t miss the good news about Midthunder.

In season one, Midthunder played Liz’s (Jeanine Mason) sister Rosa Ortecho. When the series kicked off at the beginning of the year, viewers learned that Rosa had died in a car accident after driving while intoxicated.
As season one progressed, we learned that despite the fact that Rosa had a drug problem, Liz uncovers there’s more to the circumstances surrounding her sister’s death than she could have ever imagined.
Like many fans of the series, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting pieces of the puzzle of Rosa’s story over the course of the show’s first season. With that in mind, we’ll be excited to get even more tidbits when season 2 eventually hits The CW!
