Get ready to sing along to all your favorite songs— Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella starring Brandy is officially heading to Disney+!
Fans of Disney’s beloved 1997 made for television rendition of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella will soon be able to stream the movie musical via Disney+.
On Thursday (February 4), the streamer announced that the movie would officially be arriving on the platform at the stroke of midnight on Friday, February 12.
“Anything is possible,” tweeted the streamer along with a photo of Brandy as the titular princess.

Originally premiering on November 2, 1997 as part of ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella boasts a star-studded cast of familiar faces.
Leading the cast is recording artist Brandy, who stars as Cinderella herself– the titular orphan-turned-princess, whose evil stepmother prevents her from attending the royal ball. Music icon Whitney Houston plays Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, who helps her see that anything’s possible by helping her get to the ball by any means necessary.
Others who star alongside the two musicians include Whoopi Goldberg, Victor Garber, Natalie Dessell Reid, Bernadette Peters, Paolo Montalban, Jason Alexander, and Veanne Cox.
After enchanting audiences and critics alike, the movie musical went on to earn a whopping 7 Emmy Award nominations. The film has also long-since been lauded for its diverse representation, its stunning musical numbers, and its unforgettable book of songs including “Impossible,” “My Own Little Corner,” “Ten Minutes Ago,” and more.
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella debuts via Disney+ on Friday, February 12.
