Timeless fans, the Timeless writers need you (insert Uncle Sam image here)!

Earlier today, the Timeless writer’s room put out the call for fans to head over to USA Today to vote in their annual Save Our Shows survey. USA Today has listed 30 TV shows that are currently considered to be “on the bubble” for renewal by the networks and Timeless is one of those 30 shows along with fan favorites like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The 100, iZombie, Lucifer, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

While it may feel a little early to start campaigning for Timeless when it’s not even halfway through its second season, fan efforts like these are directly responsible for the NBC adventure drama’s renewal after originally being canceled. If anyone can ensure a third season for Timeless, it will be fans like you who both watch the show and who participate in polls, Twitter hashtag campaigns and good old fashioned word of mouth.

After all, there’s so much story left to tell. Will Lucy get her sister Amy back? What’s really going on with Jiya? Is Rufus really going to die? What’s really going on between Flynn and Lucy and what’s the real story behind that diary? How is Jessica alive again? What will Connor do now that he’s lost everything? What about Lucy’s mom? Not to mention Emma? And how does Denise fit into all of this?

Plus, the big question: What’s going to happen with Lucy and Wyatt?

There are so many unanswered questions and so many missions the Time Team have left to take that it would be a real shame not to see Timeless get renewed for a third, fourth, hopefully fifth season. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but I’ve seen what the Timeless fandom can do.

Here are a few that should motivate you to get out there and start hashtagging. Voting ends Friday.

Matt Lanter ships it.

So does Abigail Spencer.

Verbal The Rapper knows how important voting is.

The Timeless writers, Eric Kripke, Shawn Ryan, the cast, they all need your help to make it happen, so take a minute, cast your vote and let’s Renew Timeless.
