Paramount’s Dungeons and Dragons adaptation is wasting no time when it comes to getting all of its ducks in a row on the pre-production front.
Casting for the adaptation, specifically, has been picking up steam over the course of the past few months.
Regé-Jean Page, who stole the hearts of millions with his portrayal of the Duke in Netflix’s Bridgerton, joins a star-studded cast lead by Chris Pine. Others who’ve also joined the cast of the adaptation include Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith.
Behind the camera, the studio has tapped Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley to direct. The duo, who have previously worked together on such titles as Game Night and Spider-Man: Homecoming, will also be teaming to work on the Dungeons and Dragons script, working off of a draft penned by Michael Gilio.
Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Paramount, Hasbro, and eOne’s Dungeons and Dragons adaptation hit the big screen.
