‘Pokémon GO’ just got a lot easier with hidden ‘Pokémon Let’s Go’ accessory’s feature

If you’re tired of spinning PokéStops on your phone, then the Pokémon: Let’s Go Poké Ball Plus accessory will be your best friend.

Announced quietly on the Pokémon Japan official website, the Poké Ball Plus will automatically spin Poké Stops for players of Pokémon GO. That means that you’ll no longer have to take your phone out at every PokéStop on your way to work to get important items such as Poké Balls.

The Poké Ball plus accessory will only function in this capacity should a player already have a Pokémon loaded into the dongle via Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Eevee!. If you do not have a Pokémon in your Poké Ball Plus, then the accessory will vibrate, forcing you to have to hit the top button to spin the PokéStop.

While the features of the Poké Ball Plus are similar to the Pokémon Go Plus in that you don’t have to take your phone out of your pocket to catch Pokémon, this auto-spinning feature for PokéStops is a major gamechanger. For fans of Pokémon GO that were on the fence about purchasing Pokémon: Let’s Go, this exciting feature is a welcome change that may sway some wallets.

Pokémon GO remains a very popular and lucrative mobile game, with it defining the genre of semi-virtual reality real-world mobile gaming. The game recently introduced some of the fourth generation Pokémon, with more expected to be added into Pokémon GO via an update soon.

There is a bundle for the games that includes one of the physical copies of the two different versions, along with a Poké Ball Plus accessory. The Poké Ball Plus can also be used as a replacement for the Joy-Con controller in Pokémon: Let’s Go. Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! release for the Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018.
