Generation VI was confirmed for the games Pokémon X and Y this morning, so we got together quickly to record our first reactions!

-With Gen VI announced, the hosts have some fun with the reaction comments from the Hypable post.
-We go through the three new starters, the grass type Chespin, the fire starter Fennekin, and the water starter Froakie.
-Are there going to be two-type moves in Gen VI?
-Going through the trailer shot-by-shot, we discover many nuances (Muchlax must have used it’s Thick Fat ability against Fenneck’s fire attack, no?)
-We get a lot of great shots of the Male Protagonist, but only far away ones of the Female.
-The new legendaries have small parts of them that create either an ‘X’ or ‘Y.’
-What do the ‘X’ and ‘Y’ stand for? The French philosopher Descartes who used them for coordinates? Genealogy?
-Things we want back in Gen VI: the apps on the touch screen from Gen IV, and the L=A feature!
