Vampire Hype returns for it’s 18th episode, discussing 4×11 “Catch Me If You Can.” Forgive us, since for some reason our normal early morning recording time affected us all, and we’ve forgotten some key elements in The Vampire Diaries universe, so have fun listening to our confusion!

-As an action-packed episode, we all loved this so much more than last week’s After School Special.
-The Sire Bond: What does it control and what doesn’t it?!
-It’s all about Kol! If he dies, things will be so boring.
-Can an Original compel Damon to not be compelled?
-Awkward transition #1 to Damon killing Jeremy. Does he really want it deep down?
-Sonya tries her best at accents. It doesn’t go well.
-The Amazing Race Team: Kol vs Klause vs Damon..wait..is that it? Who’s working with who?!
-Lots of vampire myths + no sleep = confused podcasters.
-Awkward transition #2! Rebekah & Stefan “relaxing moment” gets interrupted by some random guy.
-We’re all angry with Stefan, try to figure out if his feelings for Elena are actually gone.
-The Vampire Diaries…without the diaries?
-Kat Graham isn’t all about the show, teases huge death. So naturally we assume Bonnie dies.
–Daniel Gilles is going to be a part of The Originals…and we forget how many of them are left.
-We’re excited about the new character in the new show. Love interest, maybe?
-Listener feedback, where we talk more about how everyone underestimates Silas.
