Big news at NCIS: Longtime star Pauley Perrette has announced that she’s leaving the CBS drama.
“It is true that I am leaving NCIS after this season,” the actress said on Twitter. “It was a decision made last year. I hope everyone will love and enjoy everything Abby not only for the rest of this season, but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years.”
“All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration. I love her as much as you do.”
Pauley Perrette also played down rumors that she’s quitting NCIS to start a skincare product line. See her tweet below:

NCIS has been on the air for 14 years. With 15 seasons and 332 episodes under its belt, the show consistently pulls in well over 14 million viewers per episode. The show birthed a couple of spinoffs: NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans.
Pauley was one of three current cast members original to the show.
