Outlander season 6 has officially cast its Christie family!
Fraser’s Ridge will soon be welcoming the Christie clan and now, we’ve finally gotten word of who will be bringing the newcomers to life in Outlander season 6.
On Friday (March 19), Starz revealed that actors Mark Lewis Jones, Jessica Reynolds, and Alexander Vlahos have all signed on to join the cast of the series’ sixth season. The newly minted cast members will be taking on the roles of Tom Christie, Malva Christie, and Allan Christie, respectively.
The series took to its official Twitter account to share the exciting casting announcements for season 6 with fans far and wide. Series stars Richard Rankin (Roger), Caitriona Balfe (Claire), and Sophie Skelton (Bree), were all on hand to introduce Jones, Reynolds, and Vlahos to the world in a series of short videos that find the actors sharing a bit of insight as to what we can expect from their characters.
First up is Jones, who will be taking on the role of Tom Christie. Tom may be new to Fraser’s Ridge, but he and Jamie (Sam Heughan) go way back.
In fact, as Jones explains in the video below, Tom and Jamie were both prisoners at Ardsmuir together.
Are you ready to meet the Christies?

Up next is Reynolds, who will take on the role of Tom’s spirited daughter Malva. As Reynolds teases in the video below with Balfe, her character takes quite a liking to Claire once she arrives, and winds up becoming her assistant.
Next, join me in giving the warmest of welcomes to @jesssreynolds_ who plays Malva Christie, Tom’s spirited daughter who is captivated by Claire’s work and modern thinking, getting her into trouble with her conservative father. #Outlander pic.twitter.com/8cmmuofbN7

Finally, Vlahos will take on the role of Tom’s son, Allan Christie. Without giving too much away for those who haven’t read the books, Vlahos describes his character as someone with “a very dark history” who comes to Fraser’s Ridge in an effort to “try and find his way in the world.”
Last but *certainly* not least… meet Alexander Vlahos (@vlavla) AKA our Allan Christie. Son to Tom and brother to Malva, Allan is highly protective of his family as they settle into this new environment. #Outlander pic.twitter.com/7xMJPUtswB
