Once Upon a Time survives ABC’s cancellation day and gets a season 7 at the network! What will it look like?
Rejoice, Oncers! Your favorite fairytale, Once Upon a Time still has more stories to tell. ABC confirms that the series will return for a seventh season.
Creator Adam Horowitz took to Twitter with a simple message to announce the news:
7. #OnceUponATime #ThankYouFansandAbc
— Adam Horowitz (@AdamHorowitzLA) May 11, 2017
Sadly, the series will be without their leading Savior, Jennifer Morrison. The actress may return for one episode per her departure announcement.
There are plenty of stories left to tell, including Jared Gilmore’s Henry Mills. Could we finally see him in action?
As for the rest of the cast, announcements of their return are not yet confirmed. Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis revealed earlier this year that should Once Upon a Time get a season 7, they would “reset” the series.
Stay tuned for the season finale, and Emma’s final bow, as her story and the stories of others are wrapped for good.
Once Upon a Time‘s season 6 finale airs Sunday, May 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
