Syfy is amping up their 2018-2019 lineup with two new shows from some familiar names!
The cable network released two super short teasers for upcoming new shows Nightflyers and Deadly Class on Monday (May 14). The series come from the minds of Game of Thrones scribe George R.R. Martin, and Marvel veterans Joe and Anthony Russo, respectively.

Based off a futuristic novella of the same name by Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin, the series focuses on a group of scientists and a powerful telepath who set off on a mission to reach the edge of our solar system in an attempt to make contact with a mysterious alien life.
Things take a turn the closer they get to their final destination, and a series of terrifying and violent events could be their undoing. It’s not long before mistrust starts to seep in and eat away at the tight-knit bond the Nightflyer crew once had. From there, figuring out how to survive might just take president over making first contact.
Starring Eoin Macken, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, Angus Sampson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Gretchen Mol, David Ajala, and Brian F. O’Byrne, Nightflyers is set to premiere on Syfy in the fall.
The network also released a great feature for their upcoming adaptation of Image Comic’s Deadly Class.
Based off of Rick Remender and Wes Craig’s 2014 series, Deadly Class centers on a homeless teen who suddenly finds himself attending an elite private school, which also happens to be where the world’s top crime families send the world’s next generation of criminals.
The Russo Brothers are no strangers to comic-book adaptations and as the clip shows, they’re incredibly excited to be brining Deadly Class to the small screen.
“Fans of the comic book are going to be delighted,” promised Remender. “Deadly Class is authentic, honest, and brutal — the threats are real.”

Starring Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James, and Michel Duval, Deadly Class is set to premiere on Syfy in 2019.
