Robert Langdon is on the case in the newest trailer for Peacock’s The Lost Symbol.
Dan Brown fans will soon have an all new adaptation to sink their teeth into thanks to Peacock’s upcoming series adaptation of The Lost Symbol.
Based on the author’s 2009 best selling book of the same name, the upcoming Peacock original follows the adventures of notable Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon. The book takes place after the events of the author’s best selling 2003 novel, The Da Vinci Code, and is the third in his series centered on the symbologist, who was first introduced in the 2000 novel, Angels and Demons.
As the trailer teases, for Peacock’s The Lost Symbol, Robert Langdon finds himself attempting to solve a series of deadly puzzles in an effort to save his kidnapped mentor. The life of someone he knows isn’t the only thing on the line. In addition, solving the puzzles in question could be the key to thwarting a chilling global conspiracy.

Those set to star in the adaptation include Ashley Zukeman, Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard, and Beau Knapp.
Behind the camera, Dan Sorkin and Jay Beattie serve as writers and executive producers on the show. Meanwhile, Dan Brown, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Samie Kim Falvey, Anna Culp, John Weber, and Frank Siracusa serve as executive producers on the project. Additionally, Dan Trachtenberg served as director on the pilot in addition to being an executive producer on the series.
The Lost Symbol premieres via Peacock on Thursday, September 16.
