It’s here! The Wii U is finally out and New Super Mario Bros. U tops the list of launch titles for the system.

If you pick up any title with that shiny new Wii U, make it New Super Mario Bros. U. While it may be derivative of many of the other modern installments of the franchise, it’s still your first time to see Mario in HD.

If you are in the mood for something a little scarier, ZombieU might be worth looking into. With rogue-like elements and a return to slower paced horror, the game has been likened as this Wii’s Red Steel, only a little better.

If you aren’t interested in Nintendo’s latest offering, maybe Hitman: Absolution could be up your alley. Despite some troubling early negative reviews, the consensus seems to have evened out, even if the title does differ from other entries before it.

Finally, we’d be remiss if we did not point out the rarity that is a new release for the PlayStation Vita in Persona 4 Golden.
