Ali Wong and Randall Park have added two more notable actors to their upcoming Netflix rom-com, Always Be My Maybe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Keanu Reeves and Daniel Dae Kim have both signed on to star in Wong and Park’s upcoming Netflix film.
The rom-com, which stars Wong and Park, tells the story of two childhood sweethearts named Sasha and Marcus who stop speaking to each other for 15 years after having a huge falling out.
As fate would have it, however, the pair end up reconnecting as adults. Sasha (Wong) now works as as a celebrity chef who’s about to open a restaurant in San Francisco while Marcus (Park) is a struggling musician who still lives at home and works for his dad.
Sasha and Marcus might not have spoken to each other for over a decade, but it’s clear there’s a little something still there. Sparks might be flying the second time around, but their mismatched lives might be their undoing if they can’t figure out how to adapt to each other’s worlds.
Currently, we’ve got no word with regards to who Kim and Reeves will be playing in the upcoming rom-com.
That being said, they’re not the only newly announced cast members to join Always Be My Maybe.
In addition actor Karan Soni (who many will undoubtedly recognize from his breakout role in Deadpool), has also joined the cast of the upcoming rom-com.
Other cast members include Charlyne Yi, Michelle Buteau, Vivian Bang, James Saito, Lyrics Born, and Susan Park.
Netflix’s Always Be My Maybe is set to debut via the online streaming platform sometime in 2019.
