How does it remove silences automatically?
It analyzes every voice track, detects the silent gaps, and ripple-deletes them on a duplicate of your sequence, with adjustable padding, optional crossfades, and the option to shorten long pauses instead of removing them. Your original timeline is never touched.
Can it switch multicam angles by speaker?
Yes. It cuts to whoever's speaking from each mic, adds smart wide shots during crosstalk, and rotates through all of your wide angles for variety.
Do I need multiple speakers in order to have it switch cameras?
No, MultiCut can automatically switch cameras even if it's just one speaker. You can decide how often MultiCut is switching cameras.
What if I want to overlay graphics onto each camera?
Set up each camera as you normally would in the timeline, then nest the corresponding graphics with each camera. Then, MultiCut can use each nest as a camera.
Is my footage uploaded anywhere?
No. All analysis happens locally on your computer. Nothing is uploaded, which is part of why it's so fast. Works on macOS and Windows with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Is MultiCut Available In Other Video Editing Applications?
Currently, MultiCut is only available for Premiere Pro. We are looking into supporting Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
