New Misfits character teasers for the upcoming fourth series give us our first official look at the latest criminals to don the infamous jumpsuits…

The (incredibly short) teaser trailers debuted online, highlighting the four main players. Returning characters Rudy and Curtis are joined by newcomers Finn and Jess, played by Nathan McMullen and Karla Crome respectively. The videos depict the orange-clad criminals walking through the now-iconic stormy streets of urban London with the tantalizing tagline “Coming Soon,” leaning towards a November premiere (as has been previous predicted).

Earlier this year, it was announced that actress Lauren Socha would not be returning to the supernatural black comedy after she was sentenced to a four-month jail sentence for racism. Socha (who played Kelly) won’t be the only cast member missing this year though, as Iwan Rheon (Simon) and Antonia Thomas (Alicia) also announced their departure at the end of the show’s last run.

While Lauren will no longer be around, ex-boyfriend and power dealer Seth (played by Matthew McNulty) will return as a series regular. Matt Stokoe also joins the cast as Alex, though exact details of his role are yet to be revealed. Stokoe was pictured with Crome, McMullen, Joeseph Gilgun and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett sans jumpsuit, suggesting he could be a new community service leader or play a different role entirely.

Misfits returns later this year for eight 60 minute episodes, confirmed to feature a six-foot killer rabbit and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (who will quite literally let all of Hell loose). The premiere episode will also feature new powers and is said to bring about changes that will shape a new dynamic to the show.

What do you think of the character trailers? How do you think newcomers Finn, Jess, and Alex will compare to previous leads?
