Millie Bobby Brown is sticking with Netflix for her next project.
According to Deadline, Millie Bobby Brown is gearing up to star in and executive produce a brand new fantasy film coming down the pipeline at Netflix.
Titled Damsel, the movie will find the Stranger Things star playing a character named Princess Elodie. Elodie is under the impression that she’ll soon be marrying Prince Henry, but shockingly soon comes to discover that she’s actually set to be sacrificed to a dragon.
Not much else is known about the plot of the film other than that so we’ll be interested to hear more about what we can expect from Damsel as the film moves further and further into production. Also unclear is who might star opposite Brown in the upcoming Netflix Original movie.

Damsel serves to solidify the young star’s continued partnership with Netflix. In addition to continuing to star as Eleven in Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown also recently executive produced and starred in Enola Holmes.
The action adventure film, which also stars Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, and Helena Bonham Carter, debuted via Netflix this past September, served as an instant hit for the streamer.
Meanwhile, Damsel has already found its director in Academy Award nominee Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who previously helmed 28 Weeks Later, and is also gearing up to direct Disney’s forthcoming live action adaptation of The Sword in the Stone. Fresnadillo will be directing from a script written by Wrath of the Titans scribe Dan Mazeau.
Joining Brown in executive producing are Mazeau, Zack Roth, and Chris Castaldi.
Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Damsel debut via Netflix.
